The objective of the course is to deal with an emergency in the workplace until the emergency services arrive. First aid courses enable first aiders to carry out first aid duties in the event of a workplace accident.

Who is this course for?

Nominated healthcare professionals whether part-time or full time or agency workers in organisations is considered higher risk.

Any workers who are new to care should attend the Care Certificate Course and NOT Mandatory Training

Course details:
  • The role of the first aider
  • First aid kits and equipment
  • Preventing cross infection
  • Recording accidents and near misses (incidents)
  • Assessing emergency situations
  • How to administer first aid to a casualty who is unconscious / needs CPR / is choking / wounded or bleeding/ suffering from shock / has minor cuts, bruises or scalds
*A certificate of attendance is issued and delivered by email within 24 hours of the course being completed.

Training room rules

No Smoking in the training studio and a zero tolerance to the use of drugs on-site. Anyone caught will be asked to leave, the session will be non-refundable and risk a £100 fine.

Let’s keep things tidy. Put any rubbish in the bins provided before you leave and make sure all equipment is returned to its original location.
